Altrincham Handmade and Vintage Fair

I don’t do many craft fairs, but I was very tempted to attend this one off event at 16 the Downs in Altrincham. Ran by Rose from Plum & Pigeon, the fair was full of stalls selling vintage furniture, clothing, accessories, handmade jewellery, cards, art work and more. There was even an amazing pop-up tea room where you could enjoy a cup of tea and cake, but unfortunately I was too busy selling my cards to go and sample the cake!

This was the first time I was selling my hand drawn doodle cards at a fair but luckily they went down very well indeed! I had some customers saying they were buying the cards just to put in frames in their house – and that was lovely to hear! I also had a selection of handmade Mother’s Day cards which sold out. I will certainly try and attend more of these kind of events, they’re hard work but fun and satisfying too!
